Notebooks

Spiral-style notebooks designed for a cleanroom are used to document notes, daily operations, and events. Produced using materials that limit the number of particulates, each notebook is packaged cleaned and double shrink-wrapped.  To preserve the level of cleanliness, notebooks should only be opened in the cleanroom facility.  Once brought into the cleanroom,  a notebook should also remain there and not be removed. 

 Binders

 Commonly used to organize and archive forms within a cleanroom, binders can range from 1” capacity slide lock rings up to 5” rings with powder coated “D”-type angled rings.  Most binders are not packaged clean and are shipped in cardboard, so they should be cleaned with special cleanroom wiping agents before being introduced into a cleanroom.

Labels

Cleanroom-compatible labels are available in many sizes, print and materials. Label face stock is commonly made of Tyvek or a biaxial polypropylene, on top of a clear Mylar liner. The labels are double shrink wrapped and come wound around a plastic core.

Pens

Pens for cleanroom documentation are generally mechanical and medium point, in ink colors like black, blue or red. Ink color is indicated on the cap and trim on the pens.  For pens used in semiconductor applications, these products are produced using an ink containing the lowest possible levels of sodium and trace metals.   The ink is non-smearing and permanent.

Paper

Cleanroom paper can come in colors like white, pink, yellow, green and blue.  This lint-free paper is made and packaged in a cleanroom.  It offers high tensile strength and good heat resistance. Many companies will offer samples of the different grades and colors to test in the facility before purchase.

What materials do I require for cleaning vinyl siding?

Although there are various cleaning products available for vinyl siding,
it should be noted that even a mild detergent can do the trick.
Nevertheless, if you’re attempting to remove old stains or dealing with a
severe case of mold or mildew, special liquid soap is recommended for
best results. You will also need a soft-bristled brush with a fairly
long handle to scrub the panels. A substitute for a brush would be a
soft cloth, for which you might need a ladder for those out of reach
areas.

How should I go about cleaning?

Firstly, make a cleaning solution to soak the brush or cloth in by
adding about a cup of mild detergent to a bucket of water. If you’re
using a special liquid soap, follow the directions given on the box.
When scrubbing, avoid putting too much pressure on the panels as it may
dent or damage the vinyl. Wash off the cleaning agent with a hose by
spraying directly at the panels instead of upwards. This eliminates the
possibility of water getting behind the siding which can lead to the
growth of mold or mildew.

Are there any other measures taken to protect vinyl siding?

Vinyl siding is often damaged by tree branches and bushes which grow
close to your exteriors. If left untrimmed, these branches and shrubs
will constantly scratch and push against the siding, damaging the
surface and in some cases, leaving holes in the vinyl which will then
need replacing. So be sure to cut any branches that seem to be closing
in on your cladding.
