Getting rid of hazardous household items

Monday, December 19th, 2011

The house is where babies are brought after being born in the hospital. Most parents are not aware that majority of the things in the house have some form of contaminants that could affect newborn babies. They may have shopped for organic baby products but if there are things in the house that are made of synthetic materials, there will always be a threat to their well being. Items like detergents, plastics, and wall paints are everyday health hazards that are being neglected by people.

Aside from organic clothing, other items in the house that are used in taking care of babies must also be replaced with organic materials. Some of these items are bed sheets, pillows, and blanket. Feeding bottles, bottle cleaners, baby shampoos, and soap must also be made of organic materials or materials that have negligible effects on babies’ health. This practice would also discourage non-organic producers of goods to shift to freen manufacturing methods.
